The Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna confirms its position in the THE - World University Rankings 2025, released by Times Higher Education and, in this case, referring to the best universities worldwide, regardless of size or year of foundation. In the ranking just released, the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna remains in the range between position 201 and 250 globally. This is a result that cannot be taken for granted, due to the large number of universities evaluated (more than two thousand) and theincreased competitiveness of the overall panorama, and also due to the moment of great growth and development of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, in accordance with the indications of the strategic programme, in terms of the number of lecturers, researchers, students and alumni, and research projects acquired.

The competition in this ranking is increasingly high, with over 2000 universities evaluated, and with Asian universities playing an increasingly prominent role.
